FalseBay"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>It has been a bit of a let down this winter in terms of Swell in \u201cThe Bay\u201d.<br \/>\nThe magic combination of South Swell coupled with light to moderate North West winds has been few and far between.<br \/>\nWhen these elements have lined up, it has usually come with bad light which is not great for decent image, making.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/chappypix.co.za\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/shot15.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-472\" title=\"shot1\" src=\"http:\/\/chappypix.co.za\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/shot15.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"400\" srcset=\"http:\/\/chappypix.co.za\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/shot15.jpg 600w, http:\/\/chappypix.co.za\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/shot15-300x200.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><em>South Swell meets <strong>Kalk Bay reef<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p>I am a little over FalseBay and <strong>Kalk Bay Reef<\/strong> in particular.<br \/>\nThis must be the most hyped up and over shot break in the country.<br \/>\nIt is a wave that makes for a good photo when it is working, no matter what skill level the photographer possesses and hence it\u2019s a \u201cdog show\u201d with photographers these days.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/chappypix.co.za\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/shot25.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-473\" title=\"shot2\" death shot of Kalk Bay<\/em><\/p>\n<p>I have also been giving \u201cThe Reef\u2019s\u201d little sister, <strong>Dangers<\/strong>, a bit of attention of late.<br \/>\nThis is not the best wave in the world and certainly not the most photogenic!<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/chappypix.co.za\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/shot34.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-474\" wave<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Dangers is an average left hand reef break but the fun really starts when the beach break turns on.<br \/>\nHere one can score some fun barrels or epic launch sections.<\/p>\n<p><a
