I did a Lifestyle shoot with Professional Surfers Matt Bromley and Tarryn Chudleigh in Kommetjie a few weeks back.
The idea was a nice and simple Surfing Lifestyle shot for my new Site.
Matt Bromley
First I hooked up with Matt. We started out by the Kommetjie Lighthouse. Sadly the weather was a bit too good for the dramatic shot I had in mind but we came away with a few rad shots. We then headed back to his house on the beach in Kommetjie to shoot some shots on his deck. I decided here to shoot with one light (flash gun) from the side and the sun more or less behind Matt.

Tarryn Chudleigh
A few days later I Hooked up with Tarryn , also in Kommetjie for more of the same. First we shot some simple lifestyles with the 50mm prime lens and no lights. We had found a rad location that looked all summery as the flowers were in full bloom. We then moved to the beach, where we got some great Fashion type images. Shooting with 1 flash with a diffuser and slightly off camera, we got some great images that capture Tarryn’s unique style!
