This past week or so, Cape Town has been experiencing a pretty intense heat wave coupled with some amazing summer swell.

The week before Christmas saw some really good surf in Cape Town.
My focus during the week was the beach breaks of the South Peninsular.

I was asked to shoot a family photo the other day.
This is not usually my thing but I as very keen to give it a go, as I have known the family for many years and includes a pair of very charismatic twins.

Kommetjie was in a festive mood yesterday!
A good summer swell was running, the water was freezing cold and the surfing was red hot.
