Another surf trip up the magical East Coast of South Africa

Summer is near!
This is some of what I hope to see when summer finally arrives.

The hour around sunrise and sunset are my favorite time to shoot surfing photos. Soft golden light suits my subject matter pretty well…

New work for ZigZag surfing magazine

Summer is coming to an end, here in Cape Town but the swell keeps on pumping!

This past week or so, Cape Town has been experiencing a pretty intense heat wave coupled with some amazing summer swell.

The week before Christmas saw some really good surf in Cape Town.
My focus during the week was the beach breaks of the South Peninsular.

There were some seriously fun waves in Kommetjie yesterday and some hot surfers in the water. Sadly not the best light to shoot surfing photos in but I gave it a try anyway and got a few goodies.
