Some good summer swell this past weekend and seeing as the weather was good, I decided to Swim Long Beach in Kommetjie with a fisheye.

The hour around sunrise and sunset are my favorite time to shoot surfing photos. Soft golden light suits my subject matter pretty well…

Last Week was the SA Surfing Championships held in Cape Town

On the East side of the Cape peninsular, lies a little rocky slab in False Bay, that occasionally produces a fun, little barreling wave.

A spur of the moment decision to chase a new years swell up the East coast of South Africa ended in being the most enjoyable surf trip yet with some great surfing images captured.
