We were not expecting amazing waves but rather warm water fun. So with an open mind we made the 80km trek to the “other side”
There were a few sets when we arrived and Mikey and Jarred were amped to get in the water and boost for the camera.
Mikey , in particular was on form and gave me some really good shooting opportunities.
He is a true professional and knows what I need and want to make a good photo.
It is easy to see why kid is one of the best junior surfers to come out of South Africa in recent times.
As the morning wore on, the waves died off and the wind went a little wonky but I had a couple of shots in the bag so was pretty stoked. The surfers had a fun few hours in the water on what was a perfect beach day in the Cape.
By Early Afternoon it was time to make the fairly long mission back.
