Emma was on a list of surfers I needed to shoot for a particular SA surfing magazine.
When I contacted her to she was available and keen to shoot, she mention that she was desperate for a few photos for her portfolio.
I had not seen Emma surf in a while and her first wave out at supers she blew me away.
Whether we were shooting up at supers or down the point, she gave it everything. A pleasure to work with!
We keep the lifestyles pretty simple. The best shots came from candid pictures I took around the surfing session. These images had a more natural look and feel too them.
I would have like to have tried a few low light flash shots but the surf was just too good.
Emma will be part of the South African National junior surfing team that will compete at the world junior surfing games in Panama in April 2012
