A little bit of Last weeks swell found its way into False Bay so I went down to test shoot a couple new ideas
Last Weekend I was commissioned to cover the 2012 Western Province Surfing championships and prize giving
A couple weeks back, a “fun” South swell pulled into FalseBay and I headed down to snap a few surfing images…
On the East side of the Cape peninsular, lies a little rocky slab in False Bay, that occasionally produces a fun, little barreling wave.
The Swell charts all of last week were showing a good if not solid swell for Cape Town! 6meters (18feet), @ 12 seconds at a SSW direction.
Would it be good enough for some sick False Bay pits?
Summer here in Cape Town is coupled with a fierce South East wind.
This wind is onshore in False Bay and if it blows long and hard enough, it can bring some really fun surf.
I am super stoked to have a couple in the new ZigZag Photo Journal. So stoked that I almost missed a miss credit on an image! Other than that, this is a sick publication that I am very proud to be a part of.
