Bit of a storm hit CapeTown this past weekend which promised some solid waves. We went to check it out on Sunday

My favorite beach in CapeTown! It was here I first tried my hand at surfing photography and I recently returned to snap a few surfing images.

The hour around sunrise and sunset are my favorite time to shoot surfing photos. Soft golden light suits my subject matter pretty well…

This week I managed to assemble some of South Africa’s best female goofy foot surfers. All we need was a decent left and up the West coast we went.

Last weekend saw a storm swell pull into the bay.

Dylan Lightfoot is a highly talented surfer from Jeffery’s Bay and one of my favorite surfers to work with.

Beautiful, Talented and down to earth, Tanika Hoffman is a talented Surfer Girl that Loves to surf and have fun.

On the East side of the Cape peninsular, lies a little rocky slab in False Bay, that occasionally produces a fun, little barreling wave.

Summer is coming to an end, here in Cape Town but the swell keeps on pumping!
